A highly recommended route on the local bus with lucky number 7 will give you a chance to admire the beauty of the city center, see the old side of Vasilevsky Island, and finally it takes you to the gulf shore. Surprisingly, it will cost you only for 21 roubles per person!

DetailsThe first bus stop and the start of this route can be found on Nevsky Prospekt few steps forward from Vosstania square metro station (Rebellion Square).
The route runs along central Nevsky Avenue, crossing Palace bridge, then passes through the Vasilevsky Island, right up to the Prospect of Naval Architects (prospekt Korablestroiteley).
Try to pronounce the name, it sounds so funny but means Shipbuilders street.
Get off the bus near hotel Pribaltiyskaya (You will see the Park Inn sign or just ask the conductor about the hotel "Pribaltic").
Right behind this hotel or maybe a few hundred meters ahead you will find yourself the promenade and Gulf of Finland.
There is a new passenger terminal - still under construction - but it's already welcomes snow-white cruise ships from Europe every day.
