Day of the City
27 of May is celebrating as the day of foundation of Saint-Petersburg. This year the celebration will be going on during 2 days. Most interesting events will take places at Dvortsovaya square and Nevsky perspective.
The celebration will start on 27 of May at 10-30 a.m. when officials will lay flowers on pedestal of monument of Peter 1st at Senatskaya square. And firework will take place at 22-50 at the spit of Vasilievsky island.
But the main part of the celebration is scheduled on next day from noon. The big procession of street musicians, circus artists, military bands from all around the world will come along Nevsky perspective to Dvortsovaya square.
The procession will get Dvortsovaya square at 13-20, when the main square of the city will become the big stage for musicians with a Belgians “Sax A Fond” as a headliner.
